Volunteer
We rely on volunteers to manage our legal advice hotline and to support our staff who provide advice and carry out casework. Volunteers are also given the opportunity to contribute to the policy work that we engage in, as well as to participate in our events.
Law students
Volunteering at the NSW DDLC provides final year law students/graduates, undertaking their Practical Legal Training (PLT), with a unique opportunity to put their studies into practice. Volunteers must be able to commit to attending the Centre 2 days a week for a period of at least 6 months.
Currently we don’t have any vacancies available for volunteer law and PLT students. Our next volunteer intake will commence in June/July 2009.
If you’re interested in discussing volunteering options with us, including volunteering for non legal projects please forward your resume in confidence to info@ddlcnsw.org.au.
